Meet Kailey Brink
Are you having frequent fears of "the unknown"? Questioning where to turn and wondering when these frequent, unwanted thoughts became such a large part of your routine? Are you thinking about making a change and wondering where to start? Therapy can be a useful and supportive tool as we work together to answer these questions!
Opening up to and being vulnerable with a stranger can be a challenge. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping clients actively process their experiences, and watching the growth and progress that occurs.
For those considering therapy, I look forward to meeting you and to the work we can do together.
Who I help?
I truly believe that therapy is for everyone. Regardless of who you are or what you may be struggling with, everyone deserves to feel heard and to have support and validation for their ups and downs in life. I am most passionate about working with individuals with anxiety and depression, those who have experienced trauma, and new parents working to adapt and cope with life changes after the birth of their babies.
What can You Expect?
I focus on building a positive relationship with those I work with, meeting them where they are, and creating a space of acceptance, and understanding. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapies, which I use to help clients identify thoughts and beliefs, and take steps to address and change those that no longer serve them. Through therapy, my clients can begin to let go of unwanted thoughts, obtain peace, and create the life they deserve.
When I am not at AMW then you will find me
Tending to my mini plant jungle, reading a mystery novel, or taking a hike with my partner and my dog.
