Meet Lauren Schlegel

I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for the last 11 years and have absolutely fallen in love with this city and its people. I am passionate about this community and am dedicated to giving back to it in my role as a therapist. 

Who I help?

I believe every individual has the power to change and improve their overall quality of life. I am dedicated to helping people identify their “stuck points,” get off autopilot, and live with more intention.

I have extensive experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as infertility and neonatal loss.

It is my goal to foster a non-judgmental and supportive environment where you can process your experiences, beliefs about yourself and the world, and discover/cultivate your most authentic self. I believe that therapy is a space where you can safely challenge yourself and grow.

I utilize an integrative approach, blending techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, mindfulness and eastern philosophies.
