All Minds Welcome
Therapy is for All
The therapeutic relationship is a sacred relationship between therapist and client rooted in trust, understanding, and growth. The therapist’s role consists of listening, conceptualizing, guiding, suggesting, encouraging, questioning, validating, supporting, consulting, advocating, and holding space for the client. Holding space means putting one’s own needs, opinions, beliefs, and biases aside and allowing the client to just be.
Are you questioning whether or not to take the next first step? Makes sense. Even if this is not your first time participating in therapy, it takes courage and vulnerability to seek it each and every time. AMW understands the challenges associated with beginning therapy, finding a therapeutic relationship that fits, and agreeing to the journey each time you show up to a session. We are here to help navigate it all with you.
